WASHINGTON, December 19, 2019 – A-list actress and goop CEO Gwyneth Paltrow will discuss the story behind her lifestyle and wellness brand at NRF 2020 Vision: Retail’s Big Show in New York City in January.
“Like great business leaders, Gwyneth has learned from her challenges, seized opportunities and maintained her core values to successfully build the goop brand.”
“What an amazing opportunity to close out this year’s conference with Gwyneth Paltrow and to hear about her personal journey as CEO of a widely recognized and trusted lifestyle brand,” NRF President and CEO Matthew Shay said. “Like great business leaders, Gwyneth has learned from her challenges, seized opportunities and maintained her core values to successfully build the goop brand.”
Paltrow will join NRF 2020 on the Main Stage on Tuesday January 14, in a closing keynote fireside chat with Ellevest CEO and Co-founder Sallie Krawcheck. Paltrow will discuss her career path in building a wildly successful luxury lifestyle brand and the valuable lessons she has learned along the way.
Paltrow launched goop from her kitchen as a weekly newsletter in 2008, and the brand has grown from friendly heath and travel recommendations to a multi-platform lifestyle brand hosting content and products, as well as health and wellness summits.
She is one of the top CEOs scheduled to appear at the conference, joining the presidents and CEOs of Microsoft, Mastercard, Hudson’s Bay Company, Walmart U.S., Crate and Barrel, Best Buy, Starbucks and Nordstrom among others.
An estimated 38,000 retailers from nearly 100 countries are expected to attend NRF 2020 Vision, which is NRF’s 109th annual convention and will be held January 12-14.
Complimentary registration is available to editorial members of the news media and discounted registration is available to accredited retail analysts. For more information, visit the NRF 2020 Vision: Retail’s Big Show media registration page.
